Hair

(More Coming Soon)

There are many different types of hair I can do for these dolls.  I can do simple yarn hair, what I like to call "luxury hair", Wig hair (can be made permanent or can be made to take off.  Good for people who want multiple hairstyles or hair colors),  and Eyelash hair (good for guy dolls and short hair).

Yarn Hair:
This is the simplest and easiest method for me to do.  I simply take the yarn, and anchor it into the knitted doll head. (also can be made wig-style, see below)

Regular yarn (straight hair):

Bulky yarn hair (gives it a bit more texture, almost wavy):

Unraveled yarn hair (give it a wavy appearance):

Looped Hair (Must be done "wig" style, see below):

Luxury Hair:

This method is the most difficult one.  I have to unravel the yarn, soak it in water, wind it around wooden dowel rods, bake it in the over, then hairspray it.  It is a long process but turns out beautiful results.

Loose Curls:

Spiral Curls:

Ringlets

Straight

Wig Hair:
This one is about as easy as yarn hair.  I actually knit a "wig" of hair then attach it to the head.  I can make it detachable to be able to change the hair out.  This will appear similar to yarn hair. (See above in "yarn hair" for more styles).

Eyelash Hair:
This is actually very similar to the anchored Yarn hair, it is just made out of a slightly different yarn.  It can be anchored, made into wig hair (done in loops), or simply woven into the head.
